Kristen Banks,
Co-owner
Kristen Banks is the co-owner of Feath & Elemi in Medicine Hat and a Registered Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience. She specializes in advanced techniques that address the root causes of pain and tension, with a focus on TMJ therapy, pelvic alignment, prenatal massage, and nervous system support.
Kristen integrates her extensive training in massage therapy with a neurologically informed approach that focuses on calming the body’s stress response, improving mobility, and restoring balance.
A cornerstone of her work is the use of Bowen therapy — a gentle yet highly effective technique that uses light, precise moves across muscles, joints, and fascia. These small but powerful signals engage the nervous system, helping the body reset tension patterns and restore function naturally.
Because Bowen works directly with the body’s own regulation systems, it is especially effective for TMJ therapy, pelvic alignment, and prenatal care. Clients often notice profound improvements with minimal discomfort, making Bowen ideal for sensitive conditions, chronic pain, and those needing a gentler therapeutic approach.
Many of Kristen’s clients seek her expertise for:
TMJ therapy: Relieving jaw pain, headaches, and tension through gentle, targeted techniques.
Pelvic alignment: Restoring balance to the pelvis to reduce pain and prevent joint strain.
Prenatal & Postnatal therapy: Supporting comfort, alignment, and well-being during pregnancy.
Nervous system support: Techniques that regulate stress, promote relaxation, and encourage whole-body healing.
Kristen believes every client deserves care that addresses both the body and the nervous system. By blending precision, gentleness, and advanced therapeutic methods, she helps clients release tension, recover from chronic issues, and build resilience for long-term wellness.
